You – Lead Vocals All of your bandmates would agree: You are the most important member of This Is YOUR Band. You bring to the stage a joy for singing and a lust for the spotlight that is cherished by YOUR Band, and we just can't wait until YOU get up to sing again! Guy Golightly – Guitar, Backing Vocals, Band Disciplinarian
Guy has had a passion for music his whole life. He started to play the guitar at about 15, attacking it with a vengeance during his high school years to make up for lost time. Having been in a veritable plethora of bands throughout his guitar career, Guy has had the opportunity of playing many different types of music, including both types: country and western. He is pleased and proud to be in YOUR Band, and looks forward with great anticipation each week to the variety and attitude that each vocalist of YOUR Band brings to the stage. Rock on... Rod Strong – Keyboards, Backing Vocals
Rodney Strong is a native of Salt Lake City, Utah and has played all forms of keyboard instruments since the age of 4, when he first started to pick out melody's from the radio by ear on the piano. Then television was invented and Rod would learn theme songs on his keyboard. He has studied music with various teachers and professors ever since. With major musical influences like The Beatles, Yes, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Genesis, King Crimson, The Carnage Death Monkeys, Todd Rundgren, Marillion, Kansas, The Who, Chick Corea & Jean-Luc Ponty, it's no wonder Rod has become the gifted musician that he is. Rodney is also the horn section arranger for the Soulistics. Sneez – Drums, Cymbals, Backing Vocals, Official Band Sergeant-At-Arms/Beefcake
During his career, Rick "Sneez" Senese has performed on hundreds of recording sessions, and played countless live gigs. He's lent his expertise to national acts in various styles, from country superstars The Dixie Chicks, Mark Wills and Carolyn Dawn Johnson, to R&B legends like the Drifters, the Coasters and the Platters. He's also played for many local groups from the intermountain West such as The Bachelors, The Given, Colors, Salamanders, Sam Cardon, Michael Dowdle, Kalai, Osmond 2nd Generation and many, many others. He has recorded for NBC, ABC, ESPN, FOX, K-JAZZ, the Ricky Lake Show, Honda and Nu-Skin and countless others. Also, Sneez and his wife Sherrie (herself the percussionist for Party Train) run 'the Groove Doctors', where they teach over 100 drum and percussion students weekly how to rock and swing like crazy. You can visit Sneez at www.sneezdrums.com or make a visit to the Doctors by going to www.groovedrs.com . Dave Wilbur: Bass, backing vocals, 1 Handed Keyboards, Band Smart-Alec
Dave has over 20 years playing experience on the bass and the guitar. In his musical career, he has been a member of, or free-lanced for, reggae, progressive rock, pop, top 40, swing, salsa, country, folk, bluegrass, heavy metal, punk, be-bop, and big bands. If you can think of any other genre, he's probably had a chance to play it, too. (Except death-polka. He's still anxiously waiting on that call...) Though he prefers backing you up, Dave is quite a singer himself. He has been doing professional recording sessions as a singer since 1994, appearing on various albums in a variety of musical styles, many of which have received national airplay on ESPN and national radio. His professional voice-over work (spoken words, funny voices) includes recording for various best-selling video games for Sony Playstation, PS2, Nintendo and N64, instructional CD-ROMs and nationally aired radio spots. And, yes… he is the “hot dogs” guy from the Freeway Mazda commercial. To see one of Dave’s more successful bands, you can check out www.partytrain.com for more info.
